Teresa Wood from History Houses presents Samantha and the Suffragettes!

This program introduces youngsters to the beloved American Girl doll character, Samantha Parkington from NY. This spunky gal is a well-off, proper Victorian young lady in the year 1904 and you will see and feel what it was like to live in a MANSION on 5th Avenue in NYC by viewing a miniature home of the era. You will hear about the kinds of things Samantha did for fun and at school. She also helps out the less fortunate by befriending a girl named NELLIE who works in a factory. Not only will you meet NELLIE, but you will also meet Samantha’s PESKY neighbor, EDDIE RYLAND, just like in the movie!
